The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that enhances load control and offers field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. A five-pocket load sheave reduces vibration and extends chain life, while a fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additionally, it includes low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
