The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; and a five-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life. The hoists also benefit from a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches, alongside plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
