The Zurn Wilkins model ZW1017XL Aqua-Gard® tempering mixing valve, designed for installation at the hot water source, effectively mixes hot and cold water to maintain a distribution system temperature of 122°F (50°C) or lower, ensuring superior accuracy for safe water temperature across a range of flow rates. This valve features an outlet temperature range of 95-131°F (35-55°C), with a maximum hot supply temperature of 120-195°F (49-90.5°C) and a cold supply temperature range of 40-75°F (4.4-23.8°C). The set temperature accuracy is +/- 4°F (2°C), making it suitable for various residential and light commercial applications. The ZW1017XL is also compliant with several standards, being ASSE® listed 1017, CSA® certified, certified to NSF/ANSI 372 by IAPMO R&T, and NSF® listed-standard 61, section 9, annex G.
