The FloodStop for water heaters automatically shuts off the water supply to the water heater and sounds an alarm, leaving all other household fixtures and appliances operational. It features easy installation and is the only product of its kind that uses solid (lead free) brass, motorized ball valves for every appliance in your home. The units can be powered by batteries or AC, with water heater units equipped with full-port valves that have zero pressure restriction and UPC approval. There is automatic monthly cycling of the valves. The kit includes a motorized full-port ball valve (3/4 inch NPT pipe threaded), a control unit with battery backup (4 AA), a water/leak sensor (1.25" x 7.5"), and an AC power adaptor. The product comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
