The FloodStop compression model for water heaters is designed to automatically shut off the water supply to the water heater while sounding an alarm, allowing all other household fixtures and appliances to remain operational. It features easy installation and is the only product of its kind that utilizes solid (lead-free) brass, motorized ball valves for each appliance in the home. The units can be powered by batteries or AC, and the water heater units come equipped with full port valves that have zero pressure restriction and are UPC approved. Additionally, the system includes automatic monthly cycling of the valves. The kit includes a motorized "full-port" ball valve (3/4 inch with a compression fitting for copper pipe applications), a control unit with battery backup (4 C), a water/leak sensor (1.25" x 7.5"), and an AC power adaptor. It is backed by a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
