Oatey metal ice maker boxes are designed for both commercial and residential applications that require supply valves recessed into the wall. The box is constructed from 20 gauge galvanized steel with a powder coat white finish, and it features a flame spread rating of 94 (per UL) and 94 HB (per ASTM). The faceplate is made of 28 gauge steel and includes nail support brackets and a screw-on faceplate frame. The valves within the unit comply with the requirements of NSF Standard 61, Section 9, and meet ASME A112.18.1 standards. Additionally, the water hammer arrestor complies with ASSE Standard 1010, ensuring reliability and safety in installation.
