Oatey metal ice maker boxes are designed for use in both commercial and residential applications that require supply valves recessed into the wall. The box is constructed from 20 gauge galvanized steel with a durable powder coat white finish, while the faceplate is made from 28 gauge steel. Each unit includes nail support brackets and a screw-on faceplate frame, ensuring secure installation. The valves used in this kit comply with NSF Standard 61, Section 9, and meet the specifications of ASME A112.18.1. Additionally, the water hammer arrestor adheres to ASSE Standard 1010. The box has a flame spread rating of 94 (according to UL) and a rating of 94 HB (based on ASTM standards).
