The 2245 standard size (15") letter boxes are designed for recessed mounting and private access, making them ideal for use in colleges, schools, private postal centers, corporate mail centers, military bases, government agencies, and various other applications. Constructed from extruded aluminum, these letter boxes feature a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green. Each unit measures 15" W x 19" H x 6-3/4" D, with a rough opening size of 13-3/4" W x 17-3/4" H x 6-3/4" D. The design allows for installation into a rough opening, secured with mounting hardware (not included) through the back or side panels. A fully integrated flanged collar fits over the rough opening, while the letter boxes feature an 11-1/2" W x 3/4" H mail slot. The doors are constructed from heavy-duty 1/4" thick aluminum and are accessed from the front, and each unit includes a commercial lock with 2 keys for security.
