The 4800 Series Heavy Duty Rural Mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved and manufactured by Industries to USPS-STD-7B specifications. They are constructed entirely of aluminum, featuring a 1/8" thick extruded aluminum body paired with a 1/8" thick die cast aluminum front door and rear cover. The die cast door is secured to the body with a full-width stainless steel hinge, ensuring smooth operation. The mailboxes boast a durable powder-coated finish available in black, green, beige, and white. Each mailbox includes an adjustable red signal flag and a magnetic door catch, and they can be mounted on posts as well as in columns, masonry, or walls.
