The Tripp Lite SmartPro line interactive UPS, model SM3000RM2UTAA, is a 2U rack/tower uninterruptible power supply designed to provide network-grade power protection for critical server, network, and telecommunications equipment. This UPS features a capacity of 3000VA / 3KVA (1600W maximum load) and includes built-in auto-voltage regulation (AVR) to actively correct brownouts and over-voltages. The unit offers a unique configuration with two levels of voltage boost to address both slight under-voltages and severe brownout conditions. It is equipped with an enhanced LCD interface that displays UPS operating mode, detailed UPS and site-power data, and allows for various setup and configuration options. The switchover time from line to battery power is super-fast, occurring within milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation of connected devices. With 98% line-mode efficiency, it minimizes heat emissions and operating costs. The network management interfaces support communications via USB, RS-232, and an optional SNMPWEBCARD network interface, while a HID-compliant USB port facilitates integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. The kit also includes PowerAlert monitoring software and complete cabling, along with switched output load banks for scheduled and real-time remote reboot and load shedding of select outlets. Additional features include an emergency power off (EPO) interface, a rotatable LCD display panel for viewing in both rackmount and tower configurations, an audible alarm with momentary alarm-cancel and silent-mode options, programmable self-test capability, and field-replaceable, hot-swappable battery modules.
