The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Disc RD-ZB measures 1" x 5/8" and features an 80 grit ceramic abrasive grain combined with aluminum oxide, providing a tough, long-lasting mineral composition engineered for moderate to heavy stock removal. These fast-running discs utilize the 3M™ Roloc™ quick change attachment system to efficiently clean, strip, deburr, blend, finish, polish, scratch, and remove rust and coatings without damaging the base material. Under normal use, the bristles remain securely in place and achieve the desired finish with light pressure. The ceramic abrasive grain, manufactured through a proprietary process, offers enhanced toughness and hardness, outperforming aluminum oxide abrasives in cut rate and durability, making it suitable for intense heat and stress conditions common in industrial grinding and finishing. The Scotch-Brite™ bristle discs incorporate abrasives into a non-woven fiber matrix, creating a system that maintains consistent performance by running cool and resisting load, which reduces clogging.
