The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Disc RD-ZB measures 1" x 5/8" and features a ceramic 120 grit abrasive designed for efficient cleaning, stripping, deburring, blending, finishing, polishing, scratching, and rust and coating removal without damaging the base material. It utilizes the 3M™ Roloc™ quick change attachment system for fast disc changes and under normal use, bristles remain securely in place, achieving the desired finish with light pressure. These bristle discs are compatible with steel, aluminum, and various other metals, suitable for general maintenance as well as automotive and engine rebuilding applications. The 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain is manufactured through a proprietary process to enhance toughness and hardness, incorporating aluminum oxide blended with ceramic abrasive grain for superior cut rate, durability, and heat resistance, making it ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal and industrial grinding and finishing. Scotch-Brite™ abrasives use a non-woven fiber matrix with integrated abrasives, offering consistent performance throughout the product's life while remaining cool and load resistant to prevent clogging. Recommended applications include adhesive removal, blending including corners, cleaning, coating and paint removal, deburring, polishing, prep work prior to painting, rust removal, sealant removal, and weld cleaning.
