The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Disc RD-ZB is a 1" diameter ceramic disc with 36 grit, designed for use on both soft and hard metals including aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, and stainless steel. It features flexible polymer bristles combined with 3M™ Ceramic abrasive grain, a unique aluminum oxide blend engineered for enhanced cut rate and durability through frequent fracturing. The resin-based ceramic grain reduces manual pressure needed for efficient surface abrasion and is effective for cleaning, paint stripping, and removal of coatings, sealants, and rust. The Roloc™ attachment system facilitates quick disc and tool assembly with a secure 1/2 turn on and off mechanism, compatible with various tools including right angle or straight shaft air tools, with or without collets or chucks. The disc’s springy, responsive bristles prevent substrate gouging while providing efficient cutting action.
