This pressure fit gate is designed for traffic containment in environments such as schools, malls, recreation centers, factories, hospitals, and museums. Constructed from heavy gauge steel with a plated finish, these heavy-duty security gates are built for durability and feature heavy-duty swivel casters for easy movement. The gate includes extendable locking bars that allow adjustable placement between walls, hallways, or other vertical surfaces, accommodating openings from 6' to 9'. Installation involves expanding the gate until the ends contact both surfaces, lowering the male lock channel onto the carriage channel with guides and locking bracket, then lowering the female lock channel onto the male channel with a pin, raising both until the pin engages, and applying moderate pressure to secure the lock. The locking bar is padlockable for security, although the padlock is sold separately. Multiple gates can be joined together to cover larger expanses. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
