This pressure fit gate is designed for traffic containment in environments such as schools, malls, recreation centers, factories, hospitals, and museums. The heavy-duty security gate is constructed from heavy gauge steel with a plated finish for durability. It moves smoothly on heavy-duty swivel casters and features extendable locking bars for adjustable placement between walls, hallways, and other vertical surfaces. The gate can be expanded until the ends touch both surfaces, then secured by lowering the male lock channel onto the carriage channel with guides and locking bracket, followed by lowering the female lock channel onto the male channel with a pin. Both channels are then raised until the pin engages, and moderate pressure is applied to lock into place. The locking bar is padlockable for security purposes, although the padlock is sold separately. This gate fits openings from 11 feet to 15 feet, and multiple gates can be joined together to cover larger expanses. The product includes a 2-year limited warranty.
