This pressure fit gate is designed for traffic containment in environments such as schools, malls, recreation centers, factories, hospitals, and museums. The heavy-duty security gate is constructed from heavy gauge steel with a plated finish for durability and features heavy-duty swivel casters for smooth mobility. The gate includes extendable locking bars that enable adjustable placement between walls, hallways, and other vertical surfaces for openings ranging from 13' to 18'. Installation involves expanding the gate until the ends contact the surfaces, lowering the male lock channel onto the carriage channel with guides and locking bracket, then lowering the female lock channel onto the male channel with a pin, raising both until the pin engages, and applying moderate pressure to lock the gate securely. The locking bar is padlockable for security, though the padlock is not included. Multiple gates can be joined together for larger expanses. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
