This pressure fit gate is designed for traffic containment in environments such as schools, malls, recreation centers, factories, hospitals, and museums. The heavy-duty security gate is constructed from heavy gauge steel with a plated finish for durability. It moves easily on heavy-duty swivel casters and features extendable locking bars that allow adjustable placement between walls, hallways, and other vertical surfaces. The gate expands to fit openings from 7 feet to 12 feet. Installation involves expanding the gate until both ends touch the surfaces, lowering the male lock channel onto the carriage channel with guides and locking bracket, then lowering the female lock channel onto the male channel with a pin, followed by raising both until the pin engages and applying moderate pressure to lock into place. The locking bar is padlockable for security, with the padlock sold separately. Multiple gates can be joined together for larger expanses, and the product includes a 2-year limited warranty.
