The Mayne plastic mail posts offer a unique New England style, combining timeless charm with high-quality craftsmanship for lasting appeal. This product installs easily over a standard 4x4 wood post and is constructed from 100% polyethylene with built-in UV inhibitors for enhanced durability against the elements. The kit includes a decorative post, a mailbox support arm featuring a built-in paper holder slot, and a planter, shipping in two boxes (standard post MP5802BK / arm MP5808BK). It is designed for a medium mailbox, with a minimum width of 6 1/2 inches, and is best suited for mailboxes weighing less than 12 lbs. Please note that the 4x4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware are not included. Warranty information includes a 15-year warranty for residential applications and a 5-year warranty for commercial applications. The inset panel dimensions for the paper holder are 10" x 3.5", while the paper holder's inside dimensions are 12" x 5.5" x 4.5".
