It easily installs over a standard 4x4 wood post and is constructed from high-quality 100% polyethylene featuring built-in UV inhibitors that ensure long-lasting protection from the elements. The kit includes a decorative post and two mailbox support arms, with the product shipped in two boxes (standard post MP5802WH and 2x arm MP5814WH). It is best suited for lightweight mailboxes weighing less than 8 lbs; however, a 4x4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware are not included. The mail post comes with a 15-year warranty for residential applications and a 5-year warranty for commercial applications. Optional additions include a Mayne no-dig ground screw and a solar cap add-on, available in white or black. The product is made in the USA.
