The Mayne plastic mail post kit includes a decorative post and two mailbox support arms with paper holders, designed for easy installation over a standard 4x4 wood post. Constructed from high-quality 100% polyethylene with built-in UV inhibitors, this product ensures long-lasting protection from the elements. The package ships in two boxes, comprising the standard post (MP5802WH) and the two paper holder arms (MP5811WH). It is recommended for use with medium mailboxes, with a minimum width of 6 1/2 inches, and is best suited for mailboxes weighing less than 8 lbs. Please note that a 4x4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware are not included. The inset panel dimensions for the paper holder are 10 inches x 3.5 inches, while the paper holder's inside dimensions are 12 inches x 5.5 inches x 4.5 inches. Optional accessories include a Mayne no-dig ground screw and a solar cap add-on, available in white or black.
