XtremeFlex® HSTAT silicone rubber heating tape features adjustable thermostat control, making it ideal for applications such as process temperature control, de-icing, and supplemental heat. This heating tape offers exceptional flexibility, durability, and uniformity, along with rapid heat-up and thermal response, enabling it to quickly heat valves, pipes, bearings, pumps, gas tubing, filter housings, actuators, and more. The specifications include an adjustable thermostat range of 50 to 425°F (10 to 218°C) and a maximum exposure temperature of 450°F (232°C). The tape is constructed with a moisture and chemical-resistant silicone rubber extruded outer sheath and a uniform, fiberglass-reinforced serpentine-wound multi-stranded heating element with a power density of 6.0 watts/in2 (0.009 watts/mm2). It comes with a 6-foot (2m) long power cord with a standard 120VAC 2-prong NEMA 1-15 plug. This product is suitable for electrically conductive surfaces; however, it is not intended for plastic pipes and should not be overlapped upon itself.
