The electric drum heater with thermostat control is designed to heat contents in 55-gallon plastic drums. The shroud measures 9 inches wide and contains no fiberglass insulation. It features a preset thermostat that will not exceed 160 degrees Fahrenheit, as recommended by plastic drum manufacturers, and includes a neon pilot light and a 6-foot power cord. The heater is secured with an aluminized steel belt equipped with a toggle clamp. It is not recommended for use with fiber or fiber-lined drums and is not moisture- or explosion-proof. The unit is UL listed and CSA certified.
