The maple butcher-block bench top is kiln dried, electronically glued, then cured and sanded smooth, finished with a penetrating mineral oil protectant. It is an all-purpose bench top that requires oiling on all surfaces every 1-2 weeks depending on usage or conditions for maintenance. For cleaning the work surface, mild household cleaners such as soap and water solutions, Windex, and Lysol are recommended, while aggressive chemicals such as ammonia and solvents should be avoided to prevent permanent damage to the finish. All dimensions are typical with a general tolerance of +/- 1/8", and width, depth, and thickness may vary slightly. When purchasing multiples, exact matches in wood grain or color shade cannot be guaranteed.
