The product is manufactured from high conductivity seamless copper tubing and is tin-plated to inhibit corrosion. It features a beveled entry for easy cable insertion and positive cable stops to ensure proper insertion of conductors to full depth. The long barrel design offers high pull out force and added security, enhancing both mechanical and electrical properties. The color-coded barrels are marked with die index numbers, making identification straightforward. These connectors are suitable for voltages up to 35kV when taped according to accepted practices, with a maximum voltage level of 5kV applicable in all bare splice applications. The connectors are UL listed and CSA certified and compatible with Penn-Union, Burndy, T&B, Huskie, Greenlee, and Versa-Crimp® style tooling, making them suitable for 600-volt heavy-duty applications.
