The kit includes connectors manufactured from high conductivity seamless copper tubing that is tin-plated to inhibit corrosion, featuring a beveled entry for easy cable insertion and positive cable stops to ensure proper insertion of conductors to full depth. The long barrel design provides high pull-out force and enhanced securedness for improved mechanical and electrical properties. Each connector has color-coded barrels marked with die index numbers and is suitable for voltages up to 35kV when taped according to accepted practices, with a maximum voltage level of 5kV in all bare splice applications. These connectors are UL listed and CSA certified, compatible with Penn-Union, Burndy, T&B, Huskie, Greenlee, and Versa-Crimp® style tooling, and are suitable for 600-volt heavy-duty applications.
