The kit is manufactured from high conductivity seamless aluminum tubing and is tin-plated to inhibit corrosion, ensuring durability. It comes factory prefilled with an oxide inhibitor compound and features a beveled entry for easy cable insertion. Positive cable stops are designed to ensure proper insertion of conductors to full depth. Connectors are clearly marked with the catalog number, wire size, die index, and crimp locations for ease of use. The color coding conforms to industry requirements, facilitating proper die selection for a faster installation process. These connectors are suitable for voltages up to 35kV if taped according to accepted practices and are UL listed and CSA certified, compatible with Penn-Union, Burndy, T&B, Huskie, and Greenlee tooling. Additionally, they are RoHS compliant. End caps are included to prevent foreign materials from entering and contaminating the connector prior to installation.
