Fantech FKD direct drive, mixed flow centrifugal fans combine the high flow characteristics of axial fans with the higher pressure, non-overloading attributes of backward curved impellers. Designed for exhaust or supply applications where quiet performance and ease of installation are essential, these fans are ideal for commercial and institutional settings like offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as residential uses such as kitchen range hood exhaust. The FKD fans feature a straight-through inline design and are available in a variety of sizes compatible with duct sizes ranging from 8" to 20". They can be mounted at any angle along the ductwork and are engineered to handle airstream temperatures up to 140° F. The motor bearings are permanently sealed, self-lubricating ball types, and the fans include features such as a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed control, an external rotor motor, and a galvanized steel housing. The FKD fans come with a three-year warranty and are certified by AMCA for air and sound, as well as CULUS compliance.
