The Fantech FKD Direct Drive mixed flow centrifugal fans offer a combination of high flow from axial fans and the higher pressure capabilities of backward curved impellers, making them ideal for both exhaust and supply applications in commercial and institutional environments such as offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as residential uses including kitchen range hood exhaust. The FKD fans feature a straight-through inline design and are available in various sizes suitable for duct sizes ranging from 8" to 20", with the flexibility to be mounted at any angle along the ductwork. They are equipped with motors that can operate in airstream temperatures up to 140° F, and the motor bearings are permanently sealed, self-lubricating ball type. Key attributes include a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed controllability, the ability to be installed in any position, an external rotor motor, and a galvanized steel housing. The fans come with a three-year warranty and are certified by AMCA Air, AMCA Sound, and CULUS.
