Fantech FKD direct drive, mixed flow centrifugal fans combine the high flow characteristics of axial fans with the efficient pressure capabilities of backward curved impellers, making them suitable for both exhaust and supply applications where quiet operation and straightforward installation are essential. These fans are ideal for commercial and institutional environments, such as offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as residential uses like kitchen range hood exhaust. The FKD fans feature a straight-through inline design and are available in various sizes, accommodating duct sizes from 8" to 20". They can be mounted at any angle along the ductwork, and their motors operate effectively in airstream temperatures up to 140° F. The motor bearings are permanently sealed and self-lubricating ball types. Key features include a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed control capability, the option for installation in any position, an external rotor motor, and a galvanized steel housing. The FKD fans come with a three-year warranty and have certifications from AMCA air, AMCA sound, and CULUS.
