The Thermo Scientific™ Komet stir bars generate over three times the torque of conventional stirring bars, significantly enhancing stirrer performance and application versatility. These stir bars feature a high-energy samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnetic core, providing superior mixing action at high speeds and with viscous media. The evenly coated PTFE surface prevents residue deposits, ensuring efficient operation, and they can be sterilized with steam up to 249.8°F (121°C). With a design that includes a wear-resistant glide ring, these long-life stir bars are round in shape. Note that the product will not ship to residential addresses.
