The Thermo Scientific™ Cimarec™ Basic stirring hotplates combine performance and economy within a sleek, rugged design, making them ideal for general-purpose stirring at speeds up to 2500 RPM. They can reach maximum temperature in under 8 minutes and feature control knobs that allow for precise temperature and speed control. The solid ceramic top plate is easy to clean and resistant to acids and alkalis, while the new top-plate design minimizes the chance of breakage. The SpillaWay design effectively diverts spills away from internal components, and an integral ring-stand holder accommodates a 0.5" (1.3 cm) diameter support rod. The kit includes a TFE-coated stir bar. Note that these hotplates will not ship to residential addresses.
