Thermo Scientific™ Super-Nuova™ Multi-Position Digital Stirrers are designed for carrying out solubility studies, digestion, titration, and enzymatic studies, featuring four individually-controlled stirring positions, ceramic tops, and a 4-function memory, making them ideal for labs with multiple users. The stirrers include Thermo Scientific™ Stir Trac™ stir control which enhances slow-speed stirring with consistent speed and strong magnetic coupling, thereby reducing the risk of stir bar decoupling. They are equipped with microprocessor control for accurate and stable setpoints of stirring speed, while a Stir Trac braking feature allows for immediate stop of the stir bar for quick flask removal. The single control knob regulates speed with a lock feature to prevent accidental alterations, and a digital RPM display shows the stirring speed, which can be adjusted in units of 1 RPM. The units are easy to clean and resistant to alkalis and acids, featuring a seamless, reflective white ceramic surface that aids sample visibility. An RS-232 port allows for the output of time count and stir speed (set point) directly to a PC. Safety is ensured with a rugged low-profile cast-aluminum body that offers stability and durability, as well as a design that protects internal components from spills. A walk-away timer can shut off stirring after 1, 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. The kit includes a detachable line cord and plug, and please note that the unit will not ship to residential addresses.
