The Thermo Scientific™ Student Hotplate is designed to process delicate materials at low temperatures, featuring a compact benchtop design with variable control for quick sample testing. It includes infinitely adjustable, demand-type control that provides 5°C (9°F) temperature control over the entire operating range, reaching 260°C (500°F) in just 4.5 minutes and 371°C (700°F) in 7.5 minutes. The hotplate is equipped with a cast-aluminum top plate, embedded heating elements, and a perforated stainless steel case. Its dimensions are as follows: height of 3.75" (9.5cm), top plate diameter of 3.5" (9cm), and a weight of 4 lb. (1.8kg). Note that this device will not ship to residential addresses.
