This disc utilizes a durable open-web construction that resists loading and significantly extends disc life. The aluminum oxide mineral provides a fast cut-rate and long service life due to its self-fracturing abrasive edges, making it suitable for grinding, sanding, and finishing applications on woodworking and metalworking materials, including ferrous alloys. The Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasive system incorporates abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, creating consistent surface conditioning by maintaining high performance and limiting fiber clogging through its open-web, load-resistant material.
