These discs excel in hard-to-reach areas and are suitable for applications such as finishing, paint preparation, surface blending, scuffing, contour finishing, and lacquer sanding. The discs are flexible, enabling uniform finishes, and feature abrasive mineral options including silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc. Silicon carbide, a synthetic mineral, is sharp and ideal for low-pressure applications like paint prep, while aluminum oxide offers a high cut-rate and long life. Talc serves as a mild abrasive for achieving satin or high gloss finishes in topcoat rubbing applications.
