The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized mounted point B52 x 1/8" CRS grit aluminum oxide is designed for lightly deburring, blending, and finishing metal and plastic parts, particularly small work pieces with hard-to-reach areas. It comes in a variety of ANSI shapes and sizes suitable for light blending and deburring tasks and consists of an abrasive point securely fastened to a metal spindle for use with a die grinder. The nonwoven web is load resistant, limiting clogging of nylon fibers to maintain high cutting performance. The unitized construction is created by compressing and curing multiple layers of abrasive material together, resulting in a tough, dense, and durable abrasive ideal for consistent finishes on small parts. This product reduces the risk of smearing or surface blemishing. Typical applications include blending and deburring in industries such as metal fabrication and turbine engines.
