Featuring a soft construction for smooth operation, this wheel minimizes operator effort compared to harder alternatives. It provides a moderate degree of conformability and density, making it ideal for maintaining critical tolerances while achieving a fine polished finish. A unique resin system reduces heat build-up and minimizes smearing, allowing the wheel to run cool and resist loading thanks to its non-woven web construction. This design lowers the risk of part discoloration and warping, thereby extending the wheel's lifespan. Available in fine grade, the wheel utilizes fine grade silicon carbide abrasive, a synthetic mineral known for its sharpness and effectiveness in low-pressure applications such as paint preparation, producing a superior finish despite faster breakdown than aluminum oxide.
