The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ radial bristle brush measures 6" x 7/16" x 1" and includes an adapter; it features proprietary ceramic abrasive grain blended with aluminum oxide and molded flexible bristles that provide greater surface contact than wire brushes and maintain abrasive properties throughout the brush’s life. The brush is designed for removing paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, rust, heavy oxides, and surface contaminants, and under normal use, the flexible bristles remain securely in place, achieving the desired finish with light pressure. This bristle disc lasts longer than wire and other abrasive discs and is suitable for aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and other metals, serving applications in general industrial, aerospace, automotive, metalworking, transportation, electronics, jewelry, and woodworking industries. The ceramic abrasive grain, manufactured using proprietary processes, enhances toughness and hardness, and when blended with aluminum oxide, creates one of the hardest, longest-lasting minerals ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal and capable of handling intense heat and stress applications.
