The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ EXL unitized wheel measures 3 inches in diameter with a NH attachment and features a medium grit aluminum oxide abrasive. This wheel is designed for strong and effective edge deburring and finishing in various metalworking applications, particularly where close tolerances are critical. Constructed with compressed non-woven fiber and uniform grain distribution, it delivers consistent professional results for tasks including weld polishing, deburring aircraft parts, and blending and finishing metals, plastics, and composites. The EXL material in higher densities provides aggressive cutting power for effective deburring of edges and corners without damaging parts, while lower densities are soft and conformable for finishing contoured surfaces. The disc includes the 3M™ Roloc™ quick release system that enables quick and easy disc changes, allowing use of both the edge and surface of the wheel without removing mounting hardware. Available in fine, medium, and coarse grades, 3M™ Roloc™ discs are smaller and designed for rapid attachment to a Roloc™ disc pad, facilitating quick disc swaps for different tasks or multi-step finishing. The Roloc system ensures secure attachment even under heavy-duty applications. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, creating an abrasive system that maintains consistent performance throughout the product's life.
