It features a combination of mineral grades and soft density, making it ideal for achieving #3 or #4 finishes on various surfaces, including curved, contoured, and flat areas. The wheel operates cool and resists loading due to its open-web construction, minimizing the risk of part discoloration and warping while prolonging its lifespan. Available in coarse, medium, and fine grade abrasive, the Multi-Finishing Wheel utilizes silicon carbide abrasive, a synthetic mineral known for its sharpness and suitability for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation, providing a superior finish despite breaking down faster than aluminum oxide.
