The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized mounted point B52 x 1/8" medium grit aluminum oxide is designed for lightly deburring, blending, and finishing metal and plastic parts, especially effective for small parts with hard-to-reach areas. It is available in a variety of ANSI shapes and sizes, securely fastened to a metal spindle for use with a die grinder. The unitized construction is achieved by compressing and curing multiple layers of abrasive material together, which results in higher density and durability. The abrasive point features a nonwoven web that is load resistant and minimizes clogging of the nylon fibers, maintaining high cutting performance by the abrasive minerals. This product reduces the risk of smearing or blemishing surfaces and is suitable for applications such as blending and deburring in industries including metal fabrication and turbine engines.
