The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL Unitized Mounted Point B52 x 1/8" Fine Grit Silicon Carbide is designed to lightly deburr, blend, and finish metal and plastic parts, making it suitable for small parts with hard-to-reach areas. Available in a variety of ANSI shapes and sizes, it is ideal for light blending and deburring of smaller workpieces. The abrasive point is securely fastened to a metal spindle for use with die grinders. Its fine grit silicon carbide abrasive is embedded in a load-resistant nonwoven web that limits clogging of nylon fibers, maintaining high cutting performance. The unitized construction, produced by compressing and curing multiple layers of abrasive material together, results in a higher density and increased durability for consistent finishes on small workpieces. This product reduces the risk of smearing or surface blemishing and is commonly used in metal fabrication and turbine engine industries. Applications include blending and deburring.
