The Scotch-Brite™ finishing flap brush is constructed from sections of non-woven material that are slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core. This long-lasting brush is designed to provide improved consistency and greater control over critical prep and finishing tasks, including polishing and aesthetic finishing for metals such as copper, brass, stainless steel, and aluminum. It features soft density and med/fine/very fine abrasive grades, which produce brushed surfaces without the need for compounds, while offering more surface contact than traditional bristle-type brushes. The brush continuously supplies fresh abrasives for consistent, uniform finishes and is made from a non-woven web that is load and heat resistant, enabling fine finishing results on a variety of materials. It is suitable for achieving decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites, and its applications include blending, contour finishing, deburring, flat areas, and flat finishing.
