The Scotch-Brite™ finishing flap brush is constructed from sections of non-woven material that are slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core, providing improved consistency and greater control over critical prep and finishing tasks such as polishing and aesthetic finishing. It is suitable for creating brushed finishes on materials including copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. The brush features soft density combined with medium, fine, and very fine abrasive grades which produce brushed surfaces without the need for compounds and ensure more surface contact than traditional bristle-type brushes. It continuously delivers fresh abrasives for consistent and uniform finishes, while the non-woven web is both load and heat resistant, allowing it to achieve fine finishing results across a variety of materials, including decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites. Key applications for this product include blending, contour finishing, deburring, and flat area finishing.
