The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ clean and strip disc D1 measures 4 inches in diameter by 1/2 inch thick and features XCS grit silicon carbide. It is designed for cleaning operations requiring aggressive cutting to remove paint, sealant, rust, or other coatings. The disc includes a built-in 1/4 inch spindle for easy attachment to a die grinder or other portable tool. It is suitable for applications such as coating removal, paint stripping, rust removal, and sealant removal, and is used in industries including aerospace, general industrial, marine, metalworking, and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
