The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Combi-R Wheel 80802 measures 2-1/2" x 1 1/4" with an 80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. This unique finishing wheel consists of alternating Scotch-Brite™ non-woven flaps and aluminum oxide coated abrasive sheets, mounted on conformable pads that provide a large footprint and cushion the abrasive to create a brushed, decorative finish. It features the Roloc™ plus quick attachment system with a longer shaft that supports the wheel for stability and reduces side-loading, ensuring it remains perpendicular to the work surface. Designed for various surface finishing and blending operations, the wheel is suitable for use on aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, and ferrous alloys. The aluminum oxide abrasive mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, offering a high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention. This abrasive is widely used in grinding, sanding, and finishing applications across woodworking and metalworking industries. The Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, creating an open-web material that runs cool, resists loading, and maintains high cutting performance by limiting clogging.
