The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, which offers an innovative advancement in abrasive technology, allowing the disc to cut up to 2x faster and last up to 6x longer than traditional abrasives. This product is designed for stock removal applications and is effective on various substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing enhances durability and edge retention with greater tear resistance compared to paper discs. The Stikit™ system simplifies the application process with its pressure-sensitive adhesive coating, allowing users to easily attach the disc to a disc pad by simply pressing it on, while also permitting easy removal without leaving residue. A Stikit™ disc requires a Stikit™ backup pad, which is sold separately, for use with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders. Key applications encompass AOEM finish prep/repair, defect repair/leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, and paint/lacquer sanding in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries.
