The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Finishing Flap Brush measures 6" x 2" x 2" and features fin grit aluminum oxide abrasive material. Constructed from sections of non-woven material slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core, it provides long-lasting performance with improved consistency and greater control for critical prep and finishing tasks including polishing and aesthetic finishing on metals such as copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, as well as wood and composites. The brush is available in soft density and medium, fine, or very fine abrasive grades, producing brushed surfaces without the need for compounds while providing more surface contact than bristle-type brushes. Its non-woven web is load and heat resistant, continuously supplying fresh abrasives for consistent, uniform, decorative finishes, and is suitable for applications such as blending, contour finishing, deburring, flat area finishing, and polishing.
