The Scotch-Brite™ finishing flap brush is designed with sections of non-woven material that are slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core, offering improved consistency and greater control during critical prep and finishing tasks such as polishing and aesthetic finishing on various metals, including copper, brass, stainless steel, and aluminum. The brush features soft density and abrasive grades categorized as medium, fine, and very fine, producing brushed surfaces without the use of compounds, thereby allowing for more surface contact compared to bristle-type brushes. This product continuously supplies fresh abrasives for consistent, uniform finishes and is constructed from a non-woven web that is resistant to loading and heat, facilitating fine finishing results on a range of materials. The brush effectively achieves decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites and is suitable for applications such as blending, contour finishing, deburring, flat areas, flat finishing, and polishing.
