The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Combi-R wheel 80800 measures 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" with P180 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. This finishing wheel features alternating Scotch-Brite™ non-woven flaps and aluminum oxide coated abrasive sheets on conformable pads that provide a large footprint and cushion the abrasive to create a brushed, decorative finish. It uses the Roloc™ Plus quick attachment system with a longer shaft for enhanced stability and reduced side-loading, maintaining perpendicular alignment to the work surface. Designed for surface finishing and blending on various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and brass, the wheel employs durable aluminum oxide abrasive mineral known for its high cut-rate, toughness, self-fracturing property to expose fresh cutting edges, hardness, strength, and low heat retention. Aluminum oxide is suitable for grinding, sanding, and finishing applications on a wide range of substrates including ferrous alloys in both woodworking and metalworking. Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers to create an abrasive system that delivers consistent performance throughout the product life. The open-web material runs cool and resists loading to maintain high cutting efficiency by preventing clogging. The product is suitable for blending, contour finishing, fine finishing, and finishing builders' hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, and metal implants.
